IBM Maximo® Everyplace

IBM Maximo® Everyplace provides an 'online' or 'connected' browser based solution tailored for mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

IBM Maximo® Everyplace is not limited to just Apple products, but any browser based mobile device with wifi or 3G connectivity.

IBM Maximo® Everyplace works by taking your existing Maximo applications, cloning them and turning them into 'Mobile' applications. Hence making them 'touch screen friendly' applications.

Essentially, you design the IBM Maximo® screens for streamline the data entry so as to minimise effort required by the field technician/maintenance worker. You can display any data for that user based on the security model.

Similarly, you could use an iPad to view either IBM Maximo® Everyplace or standard IBM Maximo® applications. Sharp Business Solutions has conducted some trials of IBM Maximo® using an iPad and has found it to be a very useful tool for those environments where connectivity to your network is assured.
